A friend of the family and neighbor has a purple with factory semi-gold flames Touring Package PT convertible with a turbo. As far as I know, it has never fundamentally blown up, and he’s had it for years and years. Mind you, I don’t know HOW.

Went to the Studebaker Museum back in 2000 - If you’re ever in South Bend, it’s pretty cool.

Its on the list, for sure. Indiana has the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg museum, as well, and the Checker Motors museum is only an hour and a half north.
